Telling Where
L.I. Elaboration
Jack and Annie started through the cloud forest. They walked around huge trees draped with moss.
They pushed past tall shrubs and leafy plants.
What does the word shrub mean? A woody plant which is smaller than a tree.
What is elaboration? Result of going that extra mile, such as when your history teacher asks for five paragraphs.
Choose one of these to elaborate on by telling ‘where’.
At the beach or
At the top of the sky tower
At the beach Jack and Annie was running on the hot steaming sand, the stick are drying the birds are singing, and they feel the wind drop behind them.
